The teragraph project aims to demonstrate an innovative terahertz (THz) signal generator, using discrete patterns of graphene layers. The groundbreaking frequency multiplier concept, sets out to adress the existing technological bottleneck in the cost-effective generation of THz signals, which is seriously limiting the commercial viability of a wide variety of THz applications, in industrial sectors as diverse as medical diagnostics, security, non-destructive testing or communications.
